I thought this place only sells dinnerware and some furniture but when we came here looking at furniture, we found that they have a cafe as well. I suppose, if you are selling dinnerware and furniture, might as well cook some food and sell that too right ? Food was not that great to me but this may just be the place to see and be seen. While lunching there, I saw a group of our local actresses and singers having an all girls get together. They were really enjoying themselves, eating, chatting and laughing !!

Yup! This is what we ate, among the 6 of us !! My favs are the Antipasto and the Risotto. Dessert was a little sweet but not too bad ! Pasta was not extremely fantastic and oh yes.. they do not serve pizza !

When we first ate at this restaurant, it was located in a corner shop opposite the police station in PJ State (new town). Then it shifted to Menara Choy Fook Onn and was at the penthouse of that building. We had not been there for quite some time as the parking there was quite difficult. Recently we passed by Menara Choy Fook Onn and I could not see the signboard for this restaurant anymore. Wondering if they were still in operation, I called them and found out that they were now at another location. This time in an old bungalow in Jalan Gasing !! Good thing they kept their phone number or I would never have found them !!
I like this new location of theirs. The decoration inside is really beautiful too ! Food is also still good !!

Angus House @ KL Pavilion

Today we are having lunch with our good friends, to celebrate the long overdue birthday of one of them !! I have had dinner at the Angus House in Singapore (Takashimaya) but never tried this one in KL. I must say that it is just as good as the one in Singapore. Service was really good. My friend had to look after his baby and the staff were attentive enough to know that and delayed serving him his dish. Only when his wife took over looking after the baby, did they cook his dish and serve it, just so that his steak would come, served piping hot and fresh !!

Steamboat in Gohtong Jaya

Today was a really, really hot day and the weather has been like this for so long. Don't know about everyone else but for me, I can just start sweating the minute I'm out of the shower !!
Well, this is what prompted us to go all the way up to Gohtong Jaya for steamboat !!
This restaurant is actually located at the clubhouse of some apartments there.

This goes to show you can't get a good picture by just using an digital camera. An SLR would have been better... with a tripod too !!
